All items offer the possibility of orientating the barrel, up to total freedom of movement up to 360°.
The cartridges
All mixers use ceramic disc cartridges and are certified for 70,000 openings/closings, equal to 10 years of use by a family of 4. In the tests carried out by Gessi, the cartridge was exhausted after 200,000 opening/closing operations using medium hard water. The so-called "water hammer" test is also performed on a sample basis, which consists in the rapid opening of the mixer which subjects the cartridge to a sudden blow exerted by the pressure of the water. The test is positive when the cartridge resists opening with water delivered up to 50 bar.
