CITY bed by Maronese Acf
City by Maronese Acf is a traditional-looking bed characterized by the wave motif that decorates the headboard , infusing the bed with an elegant and refined touch. The generous padding of the headboard, which has a thickness of 8 cm, also guarantees a comfortable and comfortable rest.
The City bed is available in two variants, with or without storage.
In the "with/without base" variant , the bed is designed for the insertion of a base with a frame H max 50 mm and can be purchased without a base or with the "Stay" orthopedic base (with 14+14 slats), composed of a frame made of 30 x 40 mm painted metal tubing, in which 8 mm thick curved slats of beech plywood are inserted.
In the "with base and container" variant , the bed is equipped as standard with the "Stay" orthopedic base , underneath which there is a practical space-saving container compartment , with a useful internal height of 19.5 cm, ideal for storing, e.g. blankets, duvets, pillows, bed linen, storage boxes, etc. In this variant, the bed is equipped as standard with the "Open" lifting system , a mechanism that allows you to lift the base and mattress into a vertical position , making the storage compartment easily accessible; with a small price increase it is also possible to choose, among the accessories, the "Pratiko" lifting system , an optional mechanism which, in addition to the very comfortable front lift, offers the possibility of positioning the bed base and mattress also in a parallel position with respect to the storage compartment , facilitating not only access to the storage compartment but also making the bed.
For both variants it is also possible to choose the type of bed frame , between the "Round" wooden version, intended exclusively for beds with a 159x197 cm or 179x197 cm base, and the padded and upholstered version, for beds with a 139x197 cm base, 159x197 cm, 179x197 cm or 199x197 cm; in both versions, the bed frame has gently rounded edges, while the height of the bed frame varies depending on the type of bed:
in the "with/without base" variant , the bed frame has a height of 160 mm and rests on feet H 165 mm which, thanks to the positioning in a recessed position with respect to the perimeter of the bed frame, give the bed a refined suspended effect;
in the "with base and container" variant , the bed frame has a height of 285 mm and rests on feet H 40 mm . Upon request, through our customer service, it is also possible to combine the bed with H 80 or H 100 mm feet (4-piece kit): contact us for further information.
The headboard and padded bed frame can be covered with fabric, linen or eco-leather , carefully selected materials offered in a vast range of current and trendy textures and finishes; the wooden bed frame can be customized with various melamine finishes (wood effect, lacquered effect or concrete effect), as well as in numerous shades offered with a matt, glossy or open pore finish .

Padded bed frame: made with CARB2 TSCA thick raw wood particle panels. 25 mm, padded with foam material and covered in fabric or eco-leather.
Standard "Open" lift kit (1 position): consisting of a pair of metal plates with holes and lifting rods, plus 2 perforated corner plates for fixing to the bed base. To facilitate lifting, the mechanism is equipped with pneumatic gas pistons. For correct functioning we recommend using a mattress of max. 45 Kg. (for 1600 mm long bed base).
"Pratiko" lift kit (2 positions): consisting of a pair of metal plates with holes and lifting rods, plus 2 perforated corner plates for fixing to the bed base. The raising of the net occurs in 2 phases: in the first the net is raised at 45°, in the second the mechanism positions the net horizontally with respect to the base. To facilitate lifting, the mechanism is equipped with pneumatic gas pistons. For correct functioning we recommend using a mattress of max. 45 Kg (for 1600 mm long bed base).
Container bottom panel: made with CARB2 TSCA wood particle panels th. 14 mm melamine faced, including metal crosspiece for support.

- Upon request, with a price increase, it is also possible to make the bed out of size, with a reduction in depth or width, or with an increase in depth (max bed base D 215 cm).
