The NEWPORT SPECIAL sofa by Samoa is a model that is part of the "Essential Handy" collection , a project of shapes inspired by simplicity to interpret the thoughts of contemporary furniture.
Full of personality, the Newport sofa is characterised by strong lines that convey great modernity; simple and versatile, the Newport sofa is appreciated for its essentiality, which leaves room for just one decorative element, namely the horizontal stitching that decorates the backrests .
The Newport sofa is available in two versions , which differ in height and type of feet.
In the Special version proposed here, the reassuring design of Newport becomes even more pleasant thanks to the 14 cm high feet, which lighten and further enhance the volumes.
Equipped as standard with the pin-shaped "Link" feet , for a small extra charge the sofa can also be combined with the bold "Bill" metal feet , the modern " Model " metal feet, the hairpin-shaped "Wily" feet or the Z-shaped "Zed" feet ; the feet are available in various finishes.
The Newport Special sofa is proposed here in the linear version (in 5 sizes), in the version with bench and in the version with corner peninsula and pouf (right or left) ; the sofa is also available in many other sizes and formats that allow you to create the most varied combinations, to furnish with maximum freedom: consult the technical sheet to discover the various options and choose the ones best suited to your space!
Newport Special can be covered with various types of fabric, leather or eco-leather, materials selected through continuous technological and chromatic research, to allow you to customize and make each sofa unique, perfectly matching it to the style of your interiors! In the fabric version, the sofa is completely removable, while in the leather or eco-leather version it is partially removable.

Structure: seasoned and agglomerated wood with non-deformable D 30 polyurethane foam padding, completely covered in 300 g polyester wadding.
Seat springing: 80 mm elastic polypropylene fibre and latex bands, mechanically tensioned.
Seat cushions: in non-deformable polyurethane foam D 30, covered in polyester wadding.
Back cushions: in non-deformable polyurethane foam D 18, covered in polyester wadding.
Covers: fully removable in fabric, partially removable in leather and eco-leather. In the leather-covered version there may be additional stitching.
Bed system: not available.

- The position of the bench/peninsula must be indicated by looking at the sofa from the front.
- In the sofa with bench L 255 cm, the bench is reversible.
- The sofa with right/left bench L 287 cm is made up of two separate elements, namely the right/left side sofa L 185 cm and the right/left bench L 102 cm.
