The Charlie bed by Tomasella is a perfect example of contemporary minimalism , which translates into an essential yet elegant bed structure , perfect for a bedroom in which to take refuge to restore the body and mind after a long, hard day at work.

Refined and cared for even the smallest details, the Charlie bed is characterized by the diagonal insert that highlights the upper portion of the headboard, breaking the continuity of the grain. The use of diagonal lines is especially appreciated in the bedroom, where it is particularly difficult to play down the linearity of the usual bedside table, dresser and bed combinations. Diagonal lines immediately enliven even the simplest of compositions and consequently give great personality to the entire room. Perfect in minimal environments , in their simplicity, they are especially suitable for young and metropolitan environments.

The Charlie bed is proposed here in 9 sizes , to satisfy all needs, and is highly customizable thanks to the vast assortment of finishes that Tomasella has designed for this model, ranging from the current and trendy material effect, to the more classic lacquered, open or closed pore.

The Charlie bed is proposed here in the following 3 variants:
1. Ring Variant:
This variant includes only the bed frame (headboard, bed frame and feet) with provision for a supported bed base . The bed base, which must have a maximum height of 4 cm, is not included, but it is still possible to add an orthopedic bed base (with metal frame and wooden slats, not splittable) by choosing it from the accessories during the purchase phase. As an alternative to the bed base, it is also possible to purchase, on our website, the "Boxspring" pocket spring base by Tomasella , an innovative rest system, available exclusively for double-sized beds.
In this variant, the Charlie bed is equipped with 21.8 cm high feet made as standard with anthracite finish ; exclusively on request, through our customer service, it is possible to make the feet with chalk white or mother of pearl finish, available with no price difference, while with a small price increase, it is possible to make the feet with matt lacquered finish or with the same finish chosen for the bed frame: contact us for further information.

2. Variant with ground container:
This variant includes the headboard, the bed frame and a slatted base , underneath which there is a practical space-saving storage compartment (ideal for storing, for example, blankets, duvets, cushions, bed linen, storage boxes, etc.).
In this variant, the bed has no feet .

3. Variant with reduced and raised container:
This variant includes the headboard, the bed frame and a slatted base , underneath which there is a practical space-saving storage compartment (ideal for storing, for example, blankets, duvets, pillows, bed linen, storage boxes, etc.); in this variant, the bed is equipped with 11.1 cm high feet that help reduce the size of the storage compartment, which will therefore be less bulky and raised from the ground: the perfect combination of aesthetics and functionality.
The feet are made as standard with an anthracite finish but, upon request, through our customer service, it is possible to make the feet with a chalk white finish, without any difference in price.

In the two container variants, the bed is equipped as standard with the standard lifting system , which allows you to raise the bed base and mattress to a vertical position, making the container compartment accessible; for double beds, during the purchase phase, it is also possible to choose, among the accessories, the Pratiko lifting system , an optional system that allows you to raise the bed base and mattress both vertically and horizontally, to waist height, facilitating not only access to the container compartment, but also making the bed.
