The sideboard proposed here belongs to the Metropolis collection, a line of urban-inspired furniture , in which the alternation of glass surfaces, with taut lines and strong verticality, brings to mind large international cities.
The Metropolis sideboard is a perfect complement in the modern living area, thanks to its various storage options: alone or combined, vertically developed, or low and with an important width, in every context in which they can be positioned these complements stand out for their personality and added value.
Equipped with two glass doors and a practical drawer in the lower part, the Metropolis 2 sideboard is available in 4 variants that differ in height (121.5 or 157.5 cm) and/or width (72, 108 or 144 cm).
Elegant and linear , the sideboard recalls its metropolitan spirit also in the design of the doors, with the vertical thickness that becomes a practical handle grip; made of metal with anthracite finish, the doors are also distinguished by the functionality of the 180° opening , an uncommon feature, which greatly facilitates their use: in this way, storing objects will become an action with only an aesthetic value, where you do not look for a hiding place but you want to highlight the object.
The Metropolis 2 sideboard is equipped as standard with the Metropolis metal base , with a slanted cut and contemporary style, which raises the sideboard from the floor by 12 cm , lightening the volumes of the complement and making cleaning easier; the base, proposed as standard with an anthracite finish , can also be made in over 30 lacquered shades with a matt finish, available at a small surcharge.
Upon request, through our customer service, it is also possible to combine the sideboard with the sophisticated and elegant Tracks base (H 16.5 cm), with anthracite finish legs and adjustable foot with brass finish, or with the modern Kalista base (H 20 cm), with square lines, available in the same finishes as the Metropolis base.
For this complement, Tomasella has provided great customization possibilities: the structure, as well as the front of the chest of drawers, can be made in a vast number of finishes that range from intriguing material textures (with a lacquered effect, wood effect, concrete effect, fabric effect, etc.) to lively lacquered shades , available with a matt, glossy, open pore or metallic finish; the front of the chest of drawers can also be made in fine oak wood , available in 3 finishes, namely sand, charcoal or mocha. The glass doors can instead be made with a transparent or smoked finish .
