The SHIRO bed by Tomasella is an absolutely unique and unmistakable proposal , an “all-in-one” piece of furniture capable of combining the solidity of the wooden structure with the comfort of the two soft cushions applied to the headboard and the practicality of the integrated bedside tables.
The headboard of the bed features, in the lower portion, a metal element that acts as a connection between the headboard and the bedside tables , and can be embellished with an optional LED lighting kit , with touch control, available exclusively on request through our customer service; perfect for giving the room a relaxing and refined tone and giving the bed an intriguing three-dimensional effect, the optional lighting kit can also be applied to the integrated bedside tables.
In place of the standard integrated bedside tables, equipped with a drawer , exclusively upon request through our customer service, it is also possible to order the Shiro bed in one of the following two configurations:
1. with one or two 6 cm thick shelves;
2. without integrated bedside tables but with a headboard that extends beyond the bed frame. In this configuration you can choose to combine the bed with a bedside table from the Tomasella night collection, as illustrated in the product images.
Ideal for those looking for a furnishing solution capable of surprising, the Shiro bed is available exclusively in the double size, in 4 sizes , and can be customized down to the smallest detail: the bed structure can be made in a vast assortment of material finishes (wood effect, fabric effect, lacquered effect or concrete effect) as well as in numerous lacquered shades , proposed with a matt finish ; the metal connection is proposed in over 30 matt lacquered shades while, for the covering of the cushions applied to the headboard, Tomasella offers a vast sample of materials such as fabrics, leather, eco-leather, linen , etc., proposed in an infinite number of current and trendy shades.
The bed is proposed here in the following three variants:
1. Variant with/without net:
This variant includes only the bed frame (headboard, bed frame and feet) with provision for a supported bed base . The bed base, which must have a maximum height of 4 cm, is not included, but it is still possible to add an orthopedic bed base (with metal frame and wooden slats, not splittable) by choosing it from the accessories during the purchase phase. As an alternative to the bed base, it is also possible to purchase, on our website, the pocket spring base "Boxspring" by Tomasella , an innovative rest system, available exclusively for double-sized beds.
In this variant, the bed is equipped with 24.8 cm high feet made as standard with anthracite finish ; exclusively on request, through our customer service, it is possible to make the feet with chalk white or mother of pearl finish, available without price difference, while with a small price increase, it is possible to make the feet with matt lacquered finish or with the same finish chosen for the bed frame: contact us for further information.
2. Variant with net and container on the ground:
This variant includes the headboard, the bed frame and a slatted base , underneath which there is a practical space-saving storage compartment (ideal for storing, for example, blankets, duvets, cushions, bed linen, storage boxes, etc.).
In this variant, the bed has no feet .
3. Variant with reduced and raised net and container:
This variant includes the headboard, the bed frame and a slatted base , underneath which there is a practical space-saving storage compartment (ideal for storing, for example, blankets, duvets, pillows, bed linen, storage boxes, etc.); in this variant, the bed is equipped with 11.1 cm high feet that help reduce the size of the storage compartment, which will therefore be less bulky and raised from the ground: the perfect combination of aesthetics and functionality.
The feet are made as standard with an anthracite finish but, upon request, through our customer service, it is possible to make the feet with a chalk white finish, without any difference in price.
In the two container variants, the bed is equipped with the standard lifting system as standard , which allows you to raise the bed base and mattress to a vertical position, making the container compartment accessible; for double beds, during the purchase phase, it is also possible to choose, among the accessories, the Pratiko lifting system , an optional system that allows you to raise the bed base and mattress both vertically and horizontally, to waist height, facilitating not only access to the container compartment, but also making the bed.
