The Gold finish is obtained by treating the steel with a physical process called PVD (Physical Vacuum Deposition) which deposits particles of noble metals on the surface. The result is a unique and refined aesthetic effect, and an improvement in the mechanical properties of the steel which is more resistant to knocks and scratches.
Under-knob ignition
Maximum freedom of movement with the under-knob electric ignition, a feature common to all models, which allows the flame to be activated with just one hand.
Air burners
AEO burners guarantee 25% higher yields than standard solutions. The Dual burner with 2 independent crowns, controlled by a single knob, delivers from 1 to 5 kW, a power found only in professional models.
Special burners
Many Foster hobs are equipped with special burners, with two or three larger crowns to increase the power supplied and the heated surface. In the DUAL models the two crowns also have independent ignition, making these burners perfect for both intensive and delicate cooking.
Safe cooking
All Foster hobs are equipped with safety valves which, in the event of accidental flame extinguishing, cut off the gas supply in a very short time.
Cast iron grills
Cast iron is the ideal material for hob grids, due to the many properties that characterize it: high heat capacity which improves cooking performance; high weight and stability which improve safety; sturdiness that preserves the original appearance of the hob over time; easy cleaning.
Ultra-flat
The ultra-thin models are the classic example of a meeting between aesthetics and functionality. Elegant grids, which form a single large surface on which to move pots in complete safety.

MILANELLO COOKTOPS
The elegance of the Milano collection, together with the functionality of the burners in line. Hence the new Milanello gas hobs, in the brushed AISI 304 steel and PVD versions, with 3 and 4 burners in line.
The gas hobs are equipped with AEO high efficiency burners , with a flame spreader made with a brass ring.
Thanks to the inclined flames it is possible to achieve very high efficiencies, obtaining energy savings of up to 25% compared to standard burners .
The Milanello hobs are equipped with an auxiliary, a semi-rapid and a dual burner. The rapid burner is also present in the 4-burner version in line.
The details that make the difference
Of unmistakable beauty, the ultra-flat cast iron pan supports recalling the Black pan supports covering the Milanello sinks. A perfect pairing in the kitchen.
Milanello inherits the same important metal knob of the Foster Milano series, an unmistakable classy detail.
In the Gun metal and Copper versions, even the knobs are subjected to a physical vapor deposition-PVD treatment for a perfect harmony of colors and finishes .
The finishes
Foster offers Milanello hobs in brushed stainless steel and PVD finishes, in Copper and Gun Metal colours.
The PVD treatment is an evolution of vacuum deposition processes, which allows the obtainment of thin metal films, with innovative properties both from an aesthetic and technical point of view.
Characteristics that make this material a high quality product . In fact, the acquired technical properties make this material: of extreme hardness, maximum resistance to corrosion, unalterable to light/UV rays, eco-friendly and hypoallergenic .
FOSTER GAS COOKTOPS
Foster offers a wide and modern range of gas hobs. The hobs are developed with technologies that make it possible to achieve high performance as well as high energy savings . Foster gas hobs are equipped with high efficiency burners that save 20% to 25% gas consumption compared to traditional hobs.
Our gas hobs are equipped with latest generation thermocouples which allow for greater safety and an access time reduced to the essentials. All gas hobs are equipped with safety valves which, in the event of accidental shutdown, cut off the gas supply instantly; moreover, the electric ignition under the knob offers full freedom of movement allowing the flame to be activated with just one hand.
All Foster gas hobs are equipped with cast iron grids , this material offers high heat capacity and high stability.
Foster gas hobs are also available in stainless steel versions with Gun Metal, Gold and Copper PVD treatment.
